Tasmania Roadtrip Week 6 - Remarkable Cave

A short track leads down to the west from the carpark and into a gap in the cliffs. The pounding waves attacked the weaknesses in the rock here to form a narrow gorge that opens to a large cave with two sea entrances. Over the years the surging ocean eventually caused the roof of the cave to collapse. We are looking out into Maingon Bay from what is left of Remarkable Cave.
